Families from 75 area communities attended KidzExplore last year. Of those attending, 59% were from area communities and 41% from Kearney. The majority of adults attending KidzExplore are in the age range of 25 -49.

KidzExplore continues to reach new people: 26% of last year’s attendees were first-time visitors.

KidzExplore is the premier family event in central Nebraska providing entertainment and hundreds of ongoing, hands-on educational activities for children ages 12 and under, as well as valuable information to parents and grandparents.

Now in its 12th year, KidzExplore has become the largest children's festival in the Kearney region. More than 8,000 moms, dads and kids attend KidzExplore each year.

KidzExplore provides your business an opportunity to gain exposure, educate and receive feedback from thousands of potential customers. KidzExplore gives parents and kids the opportunity to interact and sample your products and services.

KidzExplore will be held April 12 & 13 at the FirsTier Event Center in Kearney right off Interstate 80. The beautiful arena provides prime exhibit space, ample parking and ease of loading in and out.

One of the main features of KidzExplore 2008 will be the opportunity for kids to ice skate on the arena skating rink.

KidzExplore will develop an extensive media campaign of more than $20,000 to promote the event. Promotion includes newspaper advertising in the Kearney Hub, Grand Island Independent, Hastings Tribune, and area weekly newspapers plus radio, network television, cable television, kearneyhub.com, www.kidzexplorekearney.com, posters, table tents, flyers and more.
